Amin Karbasi leads Cisco Foundation AI as VP and Chief AI Scientist at Cisco. He is also an adjunct professor at Stanford and serves on the Scientific Advisory Board of the Simons Institute for the Theory of Computing at Berkeley. Before Cisco, Amin was Chief Scientist at Robust Intelligence, which Cisco acquired, and previously held roles as a professor at Yale and a staff research scientist at Google. His work spans scalable optimization for foundation models, data curation, and AI privacy/security, with more than 150 publications in top-tier machine learning conferences.
